The works of Vasily Zherebilo are easily recognizable by the bold combination of colors. He is not afraid to use bright, rich shades, and as a result, the paintings are decorative and elegantly colored.

The heroines of the portraits pose in outfits made of glossy fabric and look detached and unearthly: just like beautiful aliens. It is difficult to catch the eye of the models, to understand their thoughts and mood. The works attract attention and leave the viewer with a sense of unsolved mystery at the same time, so you want to return to them again and again.

Vasily is a participant of the international fair ART-MYTH (1991 and 1993, Moscow), the Biennale of Contemporary Art and the "Spring Salon" in St. Petersburg (both exhibitions — 1992), the Biennale of Contemporary Art in Florence (2013, Italy). His works are in the museums of modern art in St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don, in the collection of the French Chateau de Reau, in private collections in Europe and the United States. In 2016, he illustrated the collected works of Viktor Pelevin.
